Web Hosting Pad Review

star star star

Web Hosting Pad is centered in Chicago, and its secure data center offers redundancy in case of server failure.  The site is monitored 24/7, and their servers are backed up on a weekly basis.

You can host unlimited domains, and they feature cpanel, most of the modern script languages (except Ruby), and OS Commerce shopping cart.

There are a couple of serious “gotchas” with this vendor.  Their Terms of Service flatly state that you cannot distribute software or multimedia products, because it uses excessive bandwidth.

They are also unreasonably restrictive with their refund policy.  If you sign a one year contract, and then cancel your account after 30 days have elapsed, you will be liable for the balance due all the way up until your renewal date.  Not fun.

Resources like the one you mentioned here will be very useful to me! I will post a link to this page on my blog. I am sure my visitors will find that very useful.

I’ve truly previously had a significant small amount of website hosting providers up to now. Many happen to be a nightmare, though the only one I actually stuck with ended up being impressive. Couldn’t reccommend them further! Have you considered yours?
